CCSJ Land Acknowledgement
We recognize that we are connected with one another through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
We humbly acknowledge that the ground beneath our feet is historically the home of Indigenous Peoples.
We have promised to protect and care for the land where CCSJ now sits, the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, the Huron-Wendat, and the Mississaugas, the first to live, celebrate, lament, and sing upon this glorious land.
We ask our Heavenly Father for courage to acknowledge the true history of the lands on which we gather today and for the strength and resolve to strive toward genuine reconciliation.
