Here’s what you can expect if you attend a service at CCSJ:

          • to be warmly welcomed as you arrive by our greeters at the door
          • to choose to sit wherever you are comfortable (no assigned seats, all are open)
          • to be invited to sing, pray, and respond in the service, as you’re comfortable; everything you need to participate will be on the screen
          • to be invited to come forward during communion as part of the congregation; if you’re a follower of Jesus, you can receive the bread and wine and if you’re not yet or you just prefer it, you can receive a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest; you can also remain in your seat if you’d rather not go forward; if you have mobiity issues, communion can be brought to you, please let those assisting in the aisles know

We promise that you won’t be singled out in any way because you are visiting or asked to give money. Those who call CCSJ their home church will give as part of their worship at the offering plates at the back of the church.

For those with accessibility needs, we have an elevator available beside the handicap parking spaces (white door) and a ramp with automatic openers/closers. There is an accessible washroom on the main floor of the church off the foyer.

For those with little ones, there is a changing table in the accessible washroom off the foyer and there are additional washrooms at the bottom of the stairs. Noise, snacks, crayons, and a little chaos are all just fine, we are just so glad you’re here!

Questions about parking, what to wear, and more can be found here.
